You can block the antibody by the specific target amino acid sequence of peptide.
Provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 0.1% BSA and 0.02% thimerosal.
Store at -20 deg C for short term storage. Aliquot and store at -70 deg c for long term storage, avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
The peptide is used for blocking the binding of SOCS1 antibody (catalog no. 20R-1747). In optimal conditions, it blocks the binding completely in Western blot analysis by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 minutes at 37 deg C.
